Connections helps students to develop and practice the critical thinking skills and to use them in a variety of real English situations. Each unit offers two core readings on real issues such as the recent financial crisis and food health scares. Each reading is followed by a conversation which shows opinions and reactions to the reading.
The later activities in each unit develop skills in discussion and debating.
